How do I know when my child is ready to move up?

For children in our Jumpstart classes (kindergarten and younger) we move the children from level to level based on age.  We are fairly strict on our age groupings.  For children in our Fliptastics programs, they will move to a new level when all the skills in their current level are complete.  If you have any concerns/questions we encourage you to speak to your child’s coach.

My child just came home with a small manila envelope with numbers on it.  What do I do with it?

Inside this envelope the are a number of stars.  These stars are an integral part of our Fliptastics.  Your child should have a poster that outlines all the skills required for each level of the program.  Each session stars are given to the children in class.  On the outside of the envelope their coach has written a series of numbers. Each skill is numbered on the skill chart.  Match the stars to the numbers on the chart.  These are the skills that your child has completed.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a money back guarantee to all new students to our program.  After the first class, you will receive a full refund.  After your have taken two classes we will refund the tuition portion of your payment.  This refund is a one per child per lifetime offer, and is only valid to students new to our program.

What is Open Gym?

Open Gym is an supervised, unstructured time in the gym where your child can practice skills they are learning in class or simply “play” in the gym.  Our coaches are in the gym, but are unable to provide instruction to the children.

Do you have birthday parties?

Yes

Can my child bring a friend to class?

We have specific bring a Friend weeks throughout the year where all children are invited to bring a friend to class.  Friends are not permitted to attend class during weeks that are not designated Bring a Friend Week.

What should my child wear to class?

Boys should be in shorts and a t-shirt.  Girls 4 ˝ and older should be in leotards.  Younger children can wear shorts or sweat pants.  Dance leotards are acceptable providing there is not a skirt attached to it.  Everyone should be bare foot.  All long hairs must be tied back of their faces, and all jewelry should be left with the parent.

What are the office hours?

Monday to Thursday 9:30 to 6:00.  Friday 10:00 to 7:00, Saturday 8:30 to 1:30

When will the summer brochure be ready?

The summer information will be available on-line by February 15.  The print version will be available mid March.

How do I know if the gym will be closed due to weather?

Firstly, just because your child has no school DOES NOT mean the gym will be closed.  We do not base our decision to close on any school district.  We post closings on our website, on FM 102.1 and 97.5.  We also leave a notice on our answering system.  We have recently added a Class Schedule Weather update section on our main page.  It will show both if we are open and if we are closed.  Also, we may close in the morning, but reopen for after school classes.  Do not check too early.
