Hello Team Families!

It was a very successful and healthy summer! Moving forward, we will continue to follow the safety protocols based on recommendations by the state of NH, USA Gymnastics, and the CDC.


In accordance with N.H. State guidelines, all inside communal viewing areas are closed. Parents wishing to observe practice must send a request to their coach. Viewing is limited to one at a time and parents will be given a time slot. Parents are welcome to view the gym through the open garage doors from our parking lot – however, social distancing must be maintained at all times.

We are in the process of incorporating video cameras so that you will be able to watch during your gymnast’s practice time. More information on that will be coming soon.


  • Drop off will be located at the back (gravel) lot
  • Please arrive at the drop off location 5-15 minutes prior to your practice time to allow for each gymnast to be checked in properly
  • Please do not be late for your drop off time. If you anticipate being late, you must come out of the line and call into the facility to have a staff member come out to check your gymnast in
  • A masked staff member will meet your gymnast at your car to check your gymnast in-Please remain in your car during this time
  • Gymnasts will use an outside hand washing station before entering the facility
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to pick up so each gymnast can be dismissed quickly
  • Congregating anywhere on the premises or parking lot without observing social distancing guidelines will not be allowed



  • equipment will be wiped down at a minimum of every two hours, but usually after each rotation
  • an outdoor hand washing station has been installed and used upon entering facility
  • chalk bowls have been removed, Gymnasts will utilize their own personal chalk supply which we will provide


  • All staff will have a daily health pre-screening and temperature check before entering the facility
  • All staff will wear masks for check in and at all times while not ACTIVELY coaching in the gym or when they can not be at a proper social distance (spotting)
  • All staff will follow social distancing with each other and athletes as much as possible when coaching and at all times while in communal areas

Risk Mitigation: Gym Area

  • stations will be set and marked to meet social distancing guidelines
  • gymnasts and coaches will practice social distancing at all times
  • gymnasts’ belongings will have designated stowage areas at each event utilizing social distancing spacing
  • all mats that will be in use are able to be appropriately sanitized
  • access into the foam pits will be restricted as the foam itself will be completely covered
  • traffic flow will be designated throughout the facility to lower potential exposure
  • as much as possible, groups and coaching will remain homogenous as to mitigate exposure
  • groups will rotate around the gym in the same order allowing for empty rotations for sanitation between events and groups as much as possible
  • as much as possible, equipment will remain in place to aid in the ease of sanitation between events and groups
  • recreational camps and classes will have their own designated equipment and there will no longer be open gyms until it is deemed safe to do so

Risk Mitigation: Restrooms and Locker Rooms

  • locker rooms will be closed to avoid congregation
  • restrooms will be marked with social distancing waiting areas
  • only maximum of 2 people in the main gym restrooms allowed
  • hand washing is REQUIRED after using the restroom
  • restrooms will be regulary sanitized and times documented

Risk Mitigation: Lobby

  • In accordance with NH State guidelines, all communal viewing areas must remain closed
  • if you would like to view your gymnast’s workout in person, please contact your coaches to set up a time to be health pre-screened and checked in by a staff member
  • viewing is limited to one parent per gymnast
  • social distancing guidelines and face coverings must be followed in the lobby area
  • hand sanitizers will be available and must be used upon entry into the facility

Staff Training

  • all staff will be properly trained on the effective use of PPE
  • all staff will be properly trained on how to mix disinfectant solutions properly
  • all staff will be trained on all general and gymnastic-specific safety protocols set forth by the State of NH, CDC, and USA Gymnastics
  • all staff will be properly trained on safe re-entry training plans in order to reintroduce gymnastics slowly and progressively in both time and intensity over the course of the next 8 weeks


  • appropriate plans, equipment, and setup will be utilized to encourage minimal athlete/coach contact where appropriate
  • coaches will be utilizing face coverings when in common areas of the facility and when not actively coaching, or at coach’s discretion based on individual comfort level and risk level
  • safety of athlete and coach will always be taken into consideration when making a decision to actively spot a gymnast

Gymnast Responsibilities

  • gymnasts must have their own gym bag with program-specific personal items to be used and sanitized between workouts
  • gymnasts must arrive to the facility in complete gymnastic apparel
  • the locker rooms and changing rooms are closed for use except to use the restroom
  • gymnasts will be checked in at their specified time by a staff member upon entry
  • gymnasts will health pre-screened by a masked staff member upon arrival and the results will be documented-the questions they will be asked are as follows:

1. Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
2. Have you had a fever of 100.4 or higher in the last 72 hours?
3. Are you experiencing any respiratory symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath?
4. Are you experiencing any new muscle aches or chills?
5. Have you experienced any new change to your sense of taste or smell?
6. Have you experienced any digestive issues including nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea?
7. Have you traveled outside of NH, ME, or VT, regardless of form of transportation?

  • if a gymnast positively answers any of the above questions or displays fever
    the gymnast will not be allowed to enter the facility
  • gymnasts must wash their hands at home before being dropped off
  • gymnasts will wash hands at an outdoor station before entering the facility
  • personal water bottles must be used as the water fountain is only open to fill water bottles
  • Gymnasts will remain in their set groups and follow their social distancing markings that corresponds with their number in the gym at all times
  • alterations to group scheduled workout times or changing groups is not allowed

Parent Responsibilities

  • if a gymnast is showing symptoms of being ill, please remain at home
  • if a gymnast has been exposed to anyone that may have Covid-19, the
    gymnast should remain at home
  • have athlete prepared and on time for his or her designated drop off and pick up times
  • gymnasts will be checked in at their specified time by a staff member upon entry
