How to schedule a make-up class

We offer make classes for swim should you need to miss a class.  Please note the following:

  • Make up classes are self- scheduled through the parent portal.
  • Make up classes are offered Friday morning and Saturday at noon.
  • In the event of weather cancellations, where we are able, we add additional make up availability immediately following the missed class. We encourage you to schedule your make up classes as soon as you can after a weather cancellation for best availability.
  • All make up classes expire 4 weeks after the missed class, regardless of the reason for the cancellation.  It is your responsibility to schedule your swim make up within that time frame.
  • No refunds will be given for missed classes regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
  • If you need to cancel a scheduled make up class, please cancel via the parent portal.  We require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation.
  • No-shows to make up classes will not be re-scheduled.

How to schedule an anticipated future absence and make-up class (before you have missed the class):

  1. Log into the Parent Portal:  If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the re-set password icon.
  2. Click on the Menu button in the upper right corner (3 small lines)
  3. Click on Absences & Make-ups
  4. Click on Submit An Absence.
  5. Select the dates you will be absent and click Next Step
  6. Select the class your child will miss and click Submit
  7. To schedule a make up class click on “View Schedule Impact”.
  8. Choose from the scroll down menu a class that words for your schedule.  Please be aware that all make up offering are available to you as a choice.  You must choose the same level of the missed class.  When you have chosen a class, click select, and then submit.
  9. You will receive a confirmation email.

How to schedule make-up class (after you have missed the class)

  1. Log into the Parent Portal:  If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the re-set password icon.
  2. Click on the Menu button in the upper right corner (3 small lines)
  3. Click on Absences & Make-ups
  4. Find the class that you have missed and would re-schedule
  5. To schedule a make-up class, click on “View Schedule Impact”.
  6. Choose from the scroll down menu a class that words for your schedule.  Please be aware that all make up offering are available to you as a choice.  You must choose the same level of the missed class.  When you have chosen a class, click select, and then submit.
  7. You will receive a confirmation email.

How to cancel a make-up class when you are unable to attend.

  1. Log into the Parent Portal:  If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the re-set password icon.
  2. Click on the Menu button in the upper right corner (3 small lines)
  3. Click on Absences & Make-ups
  4. Choose the missed class that the make-up is attached.
  5. Click on View Schedule Impact
  6. Click on Make-up scheduled for [date of makeup]
  7. Click on cancel this make-up.

Below is a list of the upcoming scheduled make up classes.  Please log into the parent portal and follow the above instructions to schedule your make up classe(s)
We will continue to add make up classes as the summer progresses.  Please remember that all make up classes need to be made up within 4 weeks of the missed class.
