Information

We offer a limited selection of private and semi-private swim lessons to all levels of swimmers ages 3 and older.

Important Information:

  • All participants must be over the age of 3, and able to enter the pool independently from parent or caregiver.  The parent viewing area is outside the pool enclosure.
  • Additional children are welcome up to a max of four.  All must be pre-registered.  Each additional child is $50
  • There are no minimum/maximum requirements regarding the number of lessons you can schedule.
  • Privates are 30 minutes in length
  • Cost: $85 per 30 min lesson
  • The schedule will not be available for the entire summer; we release the schedule in 2-week increments based on Instructor availability.
  • The schedule may vary each week based on Instructor availability.
  • We will send an email when the schedule has been posted.  Make sure you are enrolled in the “private swim information class” for updates. If you haven’t already done so, please use the link to enroll.

Step By Step Instructions

How To Schedule A Private Lesson

  1. Log into the parent portal with username and password.
  2. At the dashboard select “Looking for Activities”
  3. Click on the green drop-down menu labeled BROWSE
  4. Choose “Appointments” from the drop-down menu.
  5. Click on the “Private Swim Lesson”.
  6. Choose the child that will be enrolled in the private lesson.
  7.  If you would like to make this a group lesson, choose one child to enroll, then email [email protected] for instructions on adding additional children. Each child is an additional $50. (Registration fees will apply)
  8. Choose your preferred staff from the Drop-Down menu “Select Staff to View Dates/Times”
  9. The calendar will then show the days with availability for the staff you have chosen.
  10. Choose your date
  11. Select your time from drop down menu “Available times”
  12. Use blue arrow or scroll to the top.
  13. Click on Book.

How to Cancel a Private Lesson

  1. Log into the parent portal using username and password.
  2. Click on the dashboard and to the My Schedule.
  3. Scroll to find the Private Lesson that you would like to cancel.
  4. Click on the 3 little dots in the top right corner of the Private Box.
  5. Click on Cancel.

Cancellation Policies.  Please read carefully

  • In order to cancel a scheduled private lesson, you must cancel via the parent  portal.
  • Private lessons cancelled at least 24 hours before the private will receive house credit for the full amount.  This credit can be used to reschedule the private or for use in any other Action Kids Program. There are NO refunds. Please use the instructions above to cancel the private. We do not accept phone calls or voice messages as cancellation.
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson or no-shows cannot be re-scheduled as a private/semi-private lesson. You can make up a missed private/semi private lesson in one of our group make up classes.
  • If you need to schedule a make up class in a GROUP make up lesson, please email the front desk at [email protected] and our swim staff will assist.
  • Private lessons cancelled by Action Kids because of unsafe conditions can be re-scheduled.

Payment Information

  1. The parent portal does not require you to pay for your Private Swim to schedule or  check out of the portal. We recommend that you click on the Billings and Payment tab and make payment before you log out.
  2. The office will automatically make payment daily for all outstanding private lesson tuition from the previous 24 hours.
  3. If you have a credit that you would like to apply, DO NOT make payment before you log out.  The office will apply the credit and make payment for any balance.
  4. Any declined private tuition payment will be notified by email and text.     Please make payment within 3 hours of receiving the email/text.  We are unable to hold unpaid Private swim spaces.
