Sea Turtle classes incorporate waterplay, splashing, kicking and floating in the water, activities that enhance fun and establish the baseline skills necessary for learning to swim. This is a parent participation class. Your instructor will lead the group in skill building activities as well as taking one-on-one turns with each child.
We also offer an independent Sea Lions class for 2 year olds who prefer to learn in the water without parent participation. If you think your child would benefit from this type of class, please check out the description below.

By practicing beginner skills such as submerging, breath control, back floating, kicking on front and back, as well as alternating arm action, these students will begin to move comfortably through the water.
